The Passport funding program is a reimbursement program that helps adults with developmental disabilities in Ontario, 18 years of age and older, to access services and supports. The program is funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) and is managed by Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) and regional Passport Agencies.
Passport Funding can be used for daily living activities and participation in the community such as classes, recreational programs, education, and person-directed planning. It can also be used to hire a support worker and for temporary respite to provide relief for caregivers.
If you think you may be eligible for Passport funding, please contact Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) for your area. Locate your local DSO here.
Anyone who has been approved for Passport funding can create a free MyDirectPlan account with tons of great features.

Important Announcements!
Due to the Canada Post strike, there may be delays in mailing out cheques to Passport recipients who have selected cheque as their payment method. To avoid disruptions, we strongly encourage you to work with your Passport agency to switch to Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for direct deposit. If signing up for EFT is not feasible, please contact your Passport agency for other options. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
